  • Hi.. I'm Linda Otiende; a Personal Style Blogger. I think fashion and style is all about creativity; playing around with what you have to create something unique and stylish out of it. Blogging about my personal style is an interest I developed about three years ago when I discovered that as ladies, we really go to certain extremes to look good. Yes, we gotta look good but at the end of the day that does not mean that we have to wear the most expensive clothes or shoes to be stylish. You can actually work it out in the cheapest of them yet still ooze class! So welcome to my blog where I will get to show you my personal style and how I manage to look good on a budget. I do hope you enjoy.

This post was meant to be up like three weeks ago but thanks to my busy school life, I just couldn't find time but hey!it's finally here.

Do enjoy it and have a lovely week ahead
    xx

Valentines Day is in two days time and I know quite a number are super excited about this day. Woe unto you if you are single and you have to pass through town on this particular day. Vendors will be all over selling bouquet of flowers reminding you on this particular day how much being single sucks. The CBD will be painted red and the few who still believe in wearing red on this particular day will even make you hate this day more. All in all, cheer up!It's just for a day. Here are a few gift ideas if you are planning to get your partner something on this day.

    Gift Ideas for her

So it's up to you to decide how you want to use the gift card.  Make sure to check out their site suregifts for more info. You will thank me later ☺

so a watch would be an ideal gift for your better half ladies.

    5. Sometimes, Valentines is not always about buying each other gifts. You can decide to spoil your loved one by just cooking them a scrumptious meal and spending the day with them.

There is no better way to step out in this hot Nairobi weather than in an off-shoulder top. Got mine from Serinda Fashions, an Instagram thrift store, for just 200 Kshs (2 Dollars). Don't I just love how lately I'm scoring big in this game of thrifting?

    Enjoy today's post

The thing about statement pieces is that they will always pull an outfit together just like this statement knitted sweater am wearing on the blog today did. Statement pieces always have a way of making a rather plain outfit look more stylish. Whether it's a sweater, a coat, jewelry, a bag or shoes; you can never go wrong with statement pieces.

Can you imagine that I got this sweater for just 100 Kshs (1 Dollar)? Damn! You should have seen the excitement on my face when I got ahold of it. This one is a keeper if you ask me..☺ I especially loved the details on the sleeves and that is what actually made me buy it. Let me know in the comments section what you think about this look.

Do enjoy today's post and have a stylish week ahead.
