  • Hi.. I'm Linda Otiende; a Personal Style Blogger. I think fashion and style is all about creativity; playing around with what you have to create something unique and stylish out of it. Blogging about my personal style is an interest I developed about three years ago when I discovered that as ladies, we really go to certain extremes to look good. Yes, we gotta look good but at the end of the day that does not mean that we have to wear the most expensive clothes or shoes to be stylish. You can actually work it out in the cheapest of them yet still ooze class! So welcome to my blog where I will get to show you my personal style and how I manage to look good on a budget. I do hope you enjoy.

Hoping your week is off to a great start.

Being a fashion blogger, I realized that once in a while its always good to support some of our very own Kenyan designers. Why go out of your way looking for international brands and forgetting our very own who are also talented in what they do? As a result, today I decided to feature two Kenyan brands; My Couture Kenya and Malishaj. Malishaj is a Kenyan fashion line owned by a beautiful lady by the name Sharize Odongo who is currently doing wonders in the fashion industry. She is super talented and you should make a point of dropping by her Instagram page and see the amazing stuff she has in store for you. My Couture Kenya on the other hand is an online women's clothing store in Nairobi that also has amazing pieces that you cant afford to miss out on so make sure to check them out.

Enjoy today's post and have a lovely week ahead.

    Deuces!

I know am a few days late but Happy New Month beautiful people..

Super elated to be back with a new post and also because this month I celebrate two years of fashion blogging. I can't even imagine that its 2 years already...amazing, right? This takes me back to my early days of blogging when I would get 5 views in a day and I'd be so disappointed but I kept on. Fashion blogging is something I have a passion for and I kept on saying to myself that whether or not I got any views, I would still push through because its something I really loved and enjoyed doing. Two years down the line, I have made great strides in terms of content and engagement and I am more than grateful to God and to you my reader for always taking time to drop by and leave a comment, some positive others negative, but it is through those negative comments that I actually learn and get better so big up to you my reader!

So to celebrate my blog anniversary, I decided to wear this Ankara-Chiffon dress. Initially the dress was knee length and I even did a post on it some time back here. Decided to take it back to the tailor and give it a red carpet touch by making it a bit flowing. Its actually what I wore to the BAKE Awards a few weeks ago. So sit back, relax and enjoy today's post.
