  • Hi.. I'm Linda Otiende; a Personal Style Blogger. I think fashion and style is all about creativity; playing around with what you have to create something unique and stylish out of it. Blogging about my personal style is an interest I developed about three years ago when I discovered that as ladies, we really go to certain extremes to look good. Yes, we gotta look good but at the end of the day that does not mean that we have to wear the most expensive clothes or shoes to be stylish. You can actually work it out in the cheapest of them yet still ooze class! So welcome to my blog where I will get to show you my personal style and how I manage to look good on a budget. I do hope you enjoy.

    Long Coats..

Its only in Kenya where you can actually experience the pleasure of having three seasons in a day. You wake up in the morning and its cold, by the time its lunchtime you are already sweating but then again when it gets to evening you are actually glad that you carried your trench coat with you. Very confusing if you ask me.

In other news, Happy New Month...

So  today's post is all about long coats. The long coat is a great way to keep warm yet at the same time make a fashion statement especially when worn with heels. Can you imagine that I actually got mine from Gikomba for just 200Kshs(2 Dollars)? Awesome, isn't it?And what I love most about it is that it provides just the perfect cover up. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be owning one.

Enjoy today's post and have a lovely week ahead.

    Yours,
    Linda's World of Style.

    6. 200 shillings is definitely a score. That coat reminds me of Olivia pope or Annalise Keating of how to get away with murder. You look elegant and edgy at the same time.

    18. I think thats the best way to wear the coat too cause you don't need to carry it in the arms later in the evening while heading back home when its warm. I love long coats especially when they are neutral and can be paired with many colours and this one that you got is so gorgeous and some pop of colour on the dress made it even more lively!
      Enjoy your evening/week
