Whoever said winning isn't everything obviously wasn't fighting breast cancer ~ Unknown
October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and its unfortunate that while many of us ladies may be aware of the existence of this disease, we forget to take safety precautions by going for examination. Breast cancer has become the most common form of cancer among women and its sad that it is killing innocent lives; from young ladies to our very own mothers. Because of that, October has been set aside to raise awareness because if detected earlier you can actually get treatment and live a normal healthy life.

Breast cancer has become the most common form of cancer among women and its sad that it is killing innocent lives; from young ladies to our very own mothers. Because of that, October has been set aside to raise awareness because if detected earlier you can actually get treatment and live a normal healthy life.
In as much as most of you may argue that you are too young to get it, truth of the matter is cancer doesn't choose; anybody can get it. In fact just the other day I was being told of a case of a 22 year old who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Can you imagine just when your life starts to fall into place and all of a sudden your health can't allow you to live your dreams?Very sad, isn't it? So ladies its time you set your priorities right. Your health comes first. Go get mammogrammed and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
This post is therefore dedicated to anyone who has lost a family member, close relative or friend through breast cancer or any form of cancer. And for those battling breast cancer do not give up..once you choose hope, anything is possible. You have cancer but cancer does not have you!
