  • Hi.. I'm Linda Otiende; a Personal Style Blogger. I think fashion and style is all about creativity; playing around with what you have to create something unique and stylish out of it. Blogging about my personal style is an interest I developed about three years ago when I discovered that as ladies, we really go to certain extremes to look good. Yes, we gotta look good but at the end of the day that does not mean that we have to wear the most expensive clothes or shoes to be stylish. You can actually work it out in the cheapest of them yet still ooze class! So welcome to my blog where I will get to show you my personal style and how I manage to look good on a budget. I do hope you enjoy.

    The Black Dress:Casual

The black dress is a timeless classical piece. Whether in maxi, midi or mini, the black dress is perfect for any body shape. And I like the fact that black is no longer associated with funerals. We are now seeing it on the red carpet and even in our weddings. For those of you who saw Annabel Onyango's wedding you must admit that it was out of this world. The all black wedding was one of a kind and the ladies most definitely dressed up for the occasion.

At the end of the day, no matter the look, black will always denote class, sophistication and elegance. And the good thing is that once you own a black dress you can rock it in whatever way you want; Casual by throwing in a sweater like I did, to the Office by throwing in a fitting blazer, to a Wedding by wearing bold jewelry and statement heels or even as an Evening wear by adding embellished accessories.
