Hello
Welcome to my blog!

5 belts a lady should own

Hi..*waves back*

So I decided to add a new segment to the blog where I will get to share with you style tips and show you different ways of doing things. Normal is obviously boring.

Say for instance if you keep on wearing the same dress in the same way all the time then it suddenly becomes monotonous but if you decide to put on a different blazer every time you wear the dress or instead put on the dress as a top or even accessorize it in different ways then no one will actually notice that its the same piece you had on and this is what makes fashion even more fascinating.

So for today's post, I will show you the different types of belts that as a lady you shouldn't miss in your wardrobe. Belts are a compulsory accessory as they add style and sophistication to an outfit that would otherwise have looked plain.

1. The Wide Belt
The wide belt placed over the waist offers much needed definition to clothing that can otherwise seem shapeless. It works if you want a statement-making look.

2. The Metallic Belt
Whether it is wide, skinny, gold or silver; the metallic belt quickly changes an outfit from boring to classy. Take for instance a simple black dress, just by adding a metallic belt the dress can go from a casual outfit to an evening outfit. This is just how powerful the metallic belt is. What it does is it adds life to a plain outfit. If you don't own one ladies then I sure don't know what you are waiting for??!!

3. The Skinny Belt
A skinny belt is so versatile and can be worn with almost anything. From that pencil dress you wear to the office, to that skater dress, to that maxi dress/skirt...name it. Investing in one is most definitely one of the best decisions ladies!

4. The Woven Belt
I don't often put on this kind of belt but judging from what I've seen its the kind of belt that would make a maxi dress or any loose fitting dress look stylish. I've seen it with bloggers like Sharon Mundia who know how to play around with it especially when it comes to how she ties it...so stylish! This belt most definitely polishes up a rather boring look.

5.The Classic Belt
The classic belt is an important wardrobe essential that every lady should own. It is mostly paired with jeans but nowadays most of us opt for fitting jeans that don't require a belt. All in all its important to have one as it may come handy in other situations.

Thanks for your time
Cheers:-)
